Today, more than ever, there is a growing need to make the built environment more accessible for people with disabilities. Whether driven by legislation or organizational initiatives, it is important to ensure municipal services are open to all members of the community.
It is crucial to have a good understanding of the various types of disabilities that may be present among those using our facilities, as well as the current barriers present in those facilities today.
