An Employee Engagement and Energy Awareness Program (EEEAP) employs behavioural science to increase operational energy efficiencies. By providing simple, actionable messages relevant to their daily tasks, employees are inspired and motivated to make changes in facility operations or energy use patterns to achieve energy savings as much as 3-5%.

LAS and TdS Dixon Inc. are offering Ontario public sector organizations the opportunity to empower their own internal Energy Champion through a series of Train-the-Trainer workshops across the Province. These full day workshops utilize education, motivation and workplace cultural changes to capture low-cost / no cost energy savings within municipal facilities.

Upon completion of this workshop, your champion will have the tools and resources required to organize, implement, and evaluate the success of their own EEEAP.

Workshops Include:

• Initial Training: Attendance at one of the five regional workshops providing participants with instruction supported by presentation slides, tool-kits, worksheets and demonstration materials.


• Ongoing Coaching & Guidance: After the initial workshop, participants will have the opportunity to attend up to four follow-up webinars and participate in our online forum where they will be able to ask questions; seek guidance & clarification; share feedback, challenges & successes; and ultimately put their plans into action.


• Evaluation, Optional Measurement & Verification:A final webinar will serve as an evaluation for participants, who will submit a templated report describing their implemented program. Participants will also have the option of submitting consumption data for analysis to quantify implemented measures.
