LAS Goes Virtual at the AMO Conference 2020

The year of Coronavirus has forced us to communicate virtually, which seems adaptable enough when speaking with our peers, and even friends and family. But what happens when you take a conference that usually sees over 2000 in-person delegates and create a virtual event?
A delegate (and LAS staff) check-list may look like this:
- No train ticket – check.
- No suitcase – check.
- Business on top and pyjama bottoms – check.
LAS staff is creating new ways of bringing delegates information about our programs via an interactive booth experience. We are excited to provide delegates various options of communicating with us. Here are several ways we can connect:
The Chat Room: Just type your question and a live LAS representative will type back the answer.
Zoom: If you’re more of a visual person, you would have the option of video chatting with one of the reps.
Brochures: Limited for time? You can download a one-pager for each program; or download the bunch and read them when you have more time. The one-pagers give a high-level overview of each program. You would be able to contact us after the conference for more details.
Commercials: So you’re not in the mood to talk, type, or read? LAS staff brings you our final option: program commercials. A few of us had the opportunity to enter a real studio and shoot a professional video about our specific LAS programs. These 30-second commercials will give you a high-level explanation of each program. Again, you would be able to later contact us for more details.
So, you won’t have to worry about forgetting your toothbrush. Just join us at the conference in the convenience of your home or office.
